Because the all-electric F-150 Lightning features available Ford Intelligent Backup Power that can provide full-home power for up to three days on a fully charged battery, or as long as ten days if rationing power. * Combined with the available 80-amp Ford Charge Station Pro, this control over your home energy is good at the best of times, but essential when power outages are a reality.

ENHANCED PRO POWER ONBOARD

The 2022 F-150 Lightning features Pro Power Onboard with 9.6kW of exportable power, including ten 120V outlets: four in the bed, two in the cab and four in the front trunk, plus a 240V/30-amp outlet in the bed. Standard on XLT, LARIAT, and Platinum.

BLUECRUISE

Available BlueCruise* is an advanced technology that uses a driver-facing camera and radar sensing technologies that allows for hands-free driving on prequalified sections of divided highways. These are called Hands-Free Blue Zones that make up over 160,000 km of North American roads.

You can even connect up to four profiles, so your entire household has access. *

Backed by the largest public charging network in North America,* we are offering an ecosystem of charging solutions to meet all your charging needs. Whether you're on the job, on the road or at home, we have you covered. The extended-range battery comes standard with the 80-amp Ford Charge Station Pro. This allows a peak charging power of 19.2 kW enabled by the battery's dual onboard chargers which means a full charge overnight. * Like all Ford electric vehicles, every series comes with the 32-amp Ford Mobile Charger which allows you to charge from a traditional 120V or 240V outlet. Stow the shifter so a table can fold directly from the centre console. Plus the wireless 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot trial¹²⁴ allows you to answer emails or send out paperwork. And the available Tailgate Work Surface holds up its end of the bargain -- built with durable composite construction materials, clamp pockets, tailgate tie-downs and a spread of other practical details that simplify and support your work. The flat surface is a perfect space to write, measure and cut. It's grained to avoid slippage and integrated with functional tools like rulers, a mobile device holder, a cupholder and small-item storage. Standard on XLT, LARIAT, and Platinum.

ENHANCED ZONE LIGHTING

Work, pack up or take a look under your tonneau cover at night with available Enhanced Zone Lighting. It even includes additional lighting at the rear of the available fixed extended-length running boards to increase visibility at the sides of the bed. Standard on XLT, LARIAT, and Platinum.

FRONT TRUNK

You might wonder what we did with all that room where the engine used to be. It's called a front trunk. The front trunk combined with exportable power is a game-changer that has the potential to impact how trucks are used both functionally and socially.

EASY ACCESS

The hood opens with the grille attached. This gives you low, easy access to this convenient space. It's 100% power open and close so all it takes is a push of a button from the key fob or with the available Phone As A Key. *

THE FRONT TRUNK HAS POWER

The front trunk features four Pro Power Onboard 120V outlets for a total of 2.4kW of exportable power, plus one USB-C and one USB-A outlet. You can run power tools and a laptop on the job or things like a microwave or a TV when you're off the clock.

BEST-IN-CLASS CARGO CAPACITY

With 400 litres of cargo space the F-150 Lightning has the largest front trunk in the truck industry. And with 400lbs. (181 kg) of payload capacity, it can carry eight 50lbs. (22.7 kg) bags of concrete.

VERSATILE AND ORGANIZED

The washable, drainable compartment is a sealed space, so it won't get dirty when driving. It also features a cargo management system with grocery hooks, tie-downs, a cargo net and a multi-function lid divider.
